In the late sixties New York, a monied up yuppie couple introduce their four year old daughter to what she calls the ‘Jesus Book’. Their daughter becomes very enthralled with the book and it sets off a more or less chain reaction to the lives of several people.

Life in the fast lane does not change but a little religion is slowly being incorporated into the lives of this extremely wealthy family. The little girl and her ‘Jesus Book’ has such an impact that it leads to the family attending a somewhat humble church. The pastor at the church does not pull any punches as he preaches the truth. Both the rich and the poor are humbled by his sermons.

As time goes on, other members of the family along with close friends, are drawn to the church as well. I guess you could argue that the little girl and her ‘Jesus Book’ was God’s way of humbling the wealthy before they reached a point of no return.
